File upload

A drag-and-drop zone over a real file input, with progress, a result for every file, and removal. Surveyed from the upload screens in Estate, Finance Tool, Business Hub, DICOM Viewer and Budget Tool (see docs/SCOPE.md, Phase 17). Nothing you choose is kept.

States to try

  • A normal file: uploaded and scanned clean.
  • A name containing infected: blocked by the virus scan.
  • A name containing fail: a failed upload, with Retry.
  • A type that is not on the list, or over the size limit: not accepted before it is sent.

The scan result here is decided by the file name, so the states can be seen without any real malware. In a real app the file is stored as "pending scan", unavailable to everyone until the scanner reports clean (see the file-storage skill).

Preview the kit in another accent. Fifteen colours, evenly spaced and equally strong, each measured to pass AA in light and dark; high contrast keeps its own.

About this page

File upload

Without a mouse

Every control on this site works from the keyboard, including this panel (Escape closes it). Anything you can drag also has a menu or form that does the same thing.
